No one can better understand us than the One who created us. He alone has the power to set us free from any sickness or sinful bondage. Our healing very much depends on our desire to be free and getting healed. And that is why Jesus Himself questioned and confirmed with the man, who had been invalid for thirty-eight years,  his desire for healing: "When Jesus saw him lying there and learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, he asked him, 'Do you want to get well?'" (Jn 5:6). God, who sent His Son to set us free, really wants to know if we are truly and intensely desiring our healing, for He does not impose healing on us against our will. May we sincerely thirst for healing so that God may be merciful and set us free very soon.

Abba, Thank You for creating in us the desire for  healing. Let Your Spirit intensify our thirst for healing more and more, In Jesus’ Most Powerful Name, Amen.
