There are situations in life where we are not able to do anything on our own. That’s when we need the support of others, who alone can provide us with what we need the most. In one such instance, friends decided and carried the  man to the One who they believed can heal: ”Because of the crowd, however, they could not get the man to him. So they made a hole in the roof right above the place where Jesus was. When they had made an opening, they let the man down, lying on his mat” (Mk 2:4) Nothing could stop their urge for helping the man who needed healing, and their efforts won a favor from the healing words of Jesus. May we also take efforts to bring people to Jesus so that they may experience healing and liberation from their bondage.
