No one would share the royal sonship with another person because that is what sets him superior to all others. But God’s son was more than willing to share such noble birthright with His followers on two simple conditions. First, they have to accept Him. Next, they have  to believe in His Name. Then automatically they inherit the richest and highest inheritance of the divine sonship: “But to all who received him, who believed in his name, he gave power to become children of God” (Jn 1:12). May we praise God for this provision of divine sonship to us, the most unworthy, through the generous sharing of His beloved Son.
