If you live in a developed country, you would see cameras that are set up to capture all your activities to maintain law and order. But as children of God, we need to remember that God’s eyes are always upon us, that He is consider His children’s activities guided by His Son’s teachings and will reward accordingly. That is why it is very important that we should know what are those things that would bring the greatest reward from Heaven, as Jesus instructs us: “But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.” (Lk 6:35) May we never look for satisfaction by getting things in return from people around us, but rather desire to receive from the richest One, who blesses us beyond our imagination. 

Abba, thank You for inspiring us to desire for the greatest reward. Let Your Spirit guide us to give others without expecting anything in return. In Jesus’ Most Generous Name, Amen.
