Developed countries caution and direct their citizens of the place where they should seek shelter, in times of need. In spiritual life, we are directed of the shelter that protects us and gives us the safety and security we need the most. The experience of Psalmist makes him shout aloud and sing that God is the perfect shelter: “As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him” (Ps 18:30). May we always keep in mind of the provision of the perfect shelter that we have in God, and enjoy His providence and shelter.

Abba, thank You for being our perfect shield. Let Your Spirit make us come to You in times of need, as you are our perfect shelter, in Jesus’ Most Protecting Name, Amen.
