Dependence, readiness to receive, unconditional forgiveness, unimaginable faith towards the parents, joy over small things—these are some of the special qualities that highlight the qualities of the residents of His kingdom. Greatest authors have written about the highest qualities of human nature, just by observing children, who are not yet corrupted by any of today’s world. We get our right with God by being children. That’s why we are that important.  Children are so very special, precious, unique, important; hence they need invitations, hugs, and food of knowledge also. Christ did not neglect them for their smallness or unpreparedness to understand and comprehend His message, for He knew they already have them within them. That is why He literally commanded and said: “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” (Mt 19:14) May we sufficiently praise God and appreciate for the nearness of children and little ones in our lives, for they can heal us by just an ignorant question or an innocent smile.

Abba, thank You for creating us all as children. Let Your Spirit make us love children and people who think are little, in Jesus’ Most Precious Name, Amen.
