The earth that God created by His very Word was given to the rule of man and woman. But when they disobeyed God and listened to the enemy, that made them lose their authority. When the time came, the Holy Spirit was actively involved in the process of restoration and renovation of the earth. Man who came out of the earth and woman who came from him also need restoration and renovation, as sin makes them slaves to the enemy, who exercises authority over them. With the shedding of the Precious Blood, the victory is declared for the entire mankind, but we have the duty of experiencing this personally. Only God’s Spirit can work along with us and make the personal experience of salvation and we need to pray like David: “When you send your Spirit, they are created, and you renew the face of the ground” (Ps 104:30). May God consider our inability to redeem us as we are sinners and send forth His Spirit to restore our lives and renovate.

Abba, Thank You for sending Your Son to complete the salvation of mankind. Let Your Spirit be merciful and come to our aid, doing  restoration and renovation and lead us to the life of hope, peace and abundant joy, In Jesus’ Most Powerful Name, Amen.
