The Best Moment
What you consider as the worst moment in life is, in fact, the best moment for God’s intervention of a greatest blessing. The imperial order did not give her room for growing her beloved son. And not knowing any other way, with a heavy heart, she was willing to drop the child into River Nile where the king’s daughter bathed. I believe God put compassion into the heart of the daughter of Pharaoh, who made rules against the children of the Israel, was ready to accept the child to be raised in the palace. Only God can reverse the order that man creates to suppress innocent victims: “When the child grew older, she took him to Pharaoh’s daughter and he became her son. She named him Moses, saying, ‘I drew him out of the water.’” (Ex 2:10). A new name, a new place, a new mission were given to Moses by God Himself in this arrangement. May we believe that He definitely intervenes in our lives, as we too are going through the worst moment, that is the best moment for God’s greatest blessing.
Abba, Thank You for converting our worst moment into the best moment. Let Your Spirit make us wait for, and believe in, Your compassionate intervention, In Jesus’ Most Powerful Name, Amen.
