The entire universe, along with the human beings, live in time, that surprisingly unfolds its events in its own way. The knowledge about time is naturally hidden from the arrogance of science that denies the existence of God who governs and controls time by His will. None of the allegiance or subscription to scientific agencies can provide us with the knowledge of the events of the future. But the God in His great mercy has foretold and warned those who feared him and lived in the relationship of faith, as in the case of Noah during the great flood or Abraham during the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. David reinforces this gift of revelation that God bestows them, that they be saved and protected from any snare that surrounds His beloved ones: “Adonai relates intimately with those who fear him; he makes them know his covenant. My eyes are always directed toward Adonai, for he will free my feet from the net.” (Ps 25:14-15) The psalmist confirms this truth once again by declaring: “For he will conceal me in his shelter on the day of trouble, he will hide me in the folds of his tent, he will set me high on a rock.” (Ps 27:5) May we humble ourselves and live as the children of His obediently, and enjoy His care and supernatural guidance in times of need.

Abba, Thank You for accepting us into Your loving care and fellowship. Let Your Spirit make us stable in this special relationship with fear and reverence, In Jesus’ Most Protecting Name, Amen.
