The book of God describes the identity of the believer as the conqueror, while many still do not realize the status involved with this distinctive name. The challenges that roll before us make us feel surrounded by the spirit of fear, suspicion and discouragement. But only a total realization of our true identity as the bearers of the Holy spirit, can make us overcome the battles in front of us. Paul wrote about this secret to the believers and encouraged: “You realize, don’t you, that you are the temple of God, and God himself is present in you?” (1 Col 3:16) Only this awareness and the walk of faith based on this promise of God, whose power is beyond all, can make us actualize our destined victory: “You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.” (1 Jn 4:4) Every time we sense or encounter the spirit of enemy, who attempts to put us down by highlighting our weaknesses, may we take into our hands this sword of the Word of God, that makes the enemy terrified and depart, leaves us as the conquerors.

Abba, Thank You for the gift of the indwelling of the greater Holy Spirit. Let Your Spirit make us walk as conquerors trusting in His undefeatable power, and stay conquerors, In Jesus’ Most Powerful Name, Amen.
