There are cards that have strange barcodes that are not visible to human eyes, which make people to pass certain places of protection. The mentality that we need to wear and hold are so natural and we don’t need to develop, for we all came on the earth with that very disposition, the constitution that governs His kingdom: “'Truly I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it at all.’ And He took them in His arms and began blessing them, laying His hands on them.” (Mk 10:15-16) Nothing is more important than holding and maintaining this divine-approved nature already embedded in our souls. The light of this lantern is diminished as we grow and get into adulthood, combating the forces of the evil that surround us. May we take the towel of God’s mercy and wipe off all that conceal and camouflage the shining of the soul, that needs to be kept alive constantly with the disposition of children—simplicity, acceptance, gratitude, joy, and celebration.

Abba, Thank You for reminding us of the urgency of maintaining our spirits in the disposition of children. Let Your Spirit rejuvenate this appropriate mentality that needs kindling and caring. In Jesus’ Most Wonderful Name, Amen.
