You Be Still
Multitasking, the term we hear these days, is a modern form of slavery, the so-called smart people want to label themselves with. Any form of slavery is not permitted by God, for He desires that His people be set free at an appointed hour, by His chosen servant, who does not have to worry about doing many things, for the One who has sent him is the One who is going to complete the course of liberation: “But Moses said to the people, ‘Do not be afraid, stand firm, and see the deliverance that the Lord will accomplish for you today; for the Egyptians whom you see today you shall never see again. The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to keep still.’” (Ex 14:13-14) The job that is given to His people is, just to have a look at the enemy, for they are going to be ceased in existence. And the assurance that He gives is that you do not worry about doing something, and if you are very particular, do nothing, and make sure that you be still.
Abba, Thank You for going to set Your children free by Your mighty hand. Let Your Spirit make us be spectators of Your mighty acts, who maintain being still, In Jesus’ Most Powerful Name, Amen.
