Near the Gate
Passengers who transit at the airport, get more hours waiting for the next flight, sometimes choose to sleep at the airport; however, it is advised even that they do close to the gate, for even if they doze off, it’s always wise they be near the gate, because the flight attendants will call them by name and board them, since their baggage have been already sent. As we have decided to take the spiritual journey of faith, suggestion that David gives us, is to keep thanksgiving and praise unto His Name, that would identify us as passengers of His children of faith: “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.” (Ps 100:4) May we always be alert, as we are chosen children of God, chanting the password of thanksgiving and praise unto the Name to that every knee should surrender, worship and adore, among different peoples on earth, who also someday join the choir and praise His Son, for all glory and honor belong to Him and Him alone.
Abba, Thank You for entrusting with us the responsibility of being near Your Son, who declared His Name as the gate. Let Your Spirit make us joyfully await by the Gate, for Our Gate, who is the Lord and Master on whom we should always wait, singing, praising, blessing His Name, In Jesus’ Most Wonderful Name, Amen.
