Almost Approaching There
Ecclesiastes 3
There’s a Right Time for Everything
3 There’s an opportune time to do things, a right time for everything on the earth:
2-8
A right time for birth and another for death,
A right time to plant and another to reap,
A right time to kill and another to heal,
A right time to destroy and another to construct,
A right time to cry and another to laugh,
A right time to lament and another to cheer,
A right time to make love and another to abstain,
A right time to embrace and another to part,
A right time to search and another to count your losses,
A right time to hold on and another to let go,
A right time to rip out and another to mend,
A right time to shut up and another to speak up,
A right time to love and another to hate,
A right time to wage war and another to make peace.
9-13 But in the end, does it really make a difference what anyone does? I’ve had a good look at what God has given us to do—busywork, mostly. True, God made everything beautiful in itself and in its time—but he’s left us in the dark, so we can never know what God is up to, whether he’s coming or going. I’ve decided that there’s nothing better to do than go ahead and have a good time and get the most we can out of life. That’s it—eat, drink, and make the most of your job. It’s God’s gift.
14 I’ve also concluded that whatever God does, that’s the way it’s going to be, always. No addition, no subtraction. God’s done it and that’s it. That’s so we’ll quit asking questions and simply worship in holy fear.
15
Whatever was, is.
Whatever will be, is.
That’s how it always is with God.
Something that man can never control, is passing of time and aging, and that is in control of Him, who is not limited by time, for he lives eternally, and who controls all events on earth, when He decides, and how he wishes. Mary also confirmed of this fact, in her expression of gratitude, in her poem that is generally attributed, the Magnificat:
Blessed Among Women
39-45 Mary didn’t waste a minute. She got up and traveled to a town in Judah in the hill country, straight to Zachariah’s house, and greeted Elizabeth. When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby in her womb leaped. She was filled with the Holy Spirit, and sang out exuberantly,
You’re so blessed among women,
and the babe in your womb, also blessed!
And why am I so blessed that
the mother of my Lord visits me?
The moment the sound of your
greeting entered my ears,
The babe in my womb
skipped like a lamb for sheer joy.
Blessed woman, who believed what God said,
believed every word would come true!
46-55 And Mary said,
I’m bursting with God-news;
I’m dancing the song of my Savior God.
God took one good look at me, and look what happened—
I’m the most fortunate woman on earth!
What God has done for me will never be forgotten,
the God whose very name is holy, set apart from all others.
His mercy flows in wave after wave
on those who are in awe before him.
He bared his arm and showed his strength,
scattered the bluffing braggarts.
He knocked tyrants off their high horses,
pulled victims out of the mud.
The starving poor sat down to a banquet;
the callous rich were left out in the cold.
He embraced his chosen child, Israel;
he remembered and piled on the mercies, piled them high.
It’s exactly what he promised,
beginning with Abraham and right up to now.
56 Mary stayed with Elizabeth for three months and then went back to her own home. Lk 1:46-56
It is very important, we the people who send satellite on the orbits of earth, to predict the weather to the maximum possible accuracy, should be understanding the spiritual forecast that is been, repeatedly announced these days, should get the message of alert seriously, and take measures in view of protecting the soul whole value is above all that we can earn and possess, but in reality, we all have to leave empty handed, leaving behind all and all— our collections of dress, shoes, e-gargets, wagons, books, pictures, albums and so on.
The Master Teacher, too exposed the hypocrisy of the smart people, who were His contemporaries, who refused to understand His Kingdom message:
54-56 Then he turned to the crowd: “When you see clouds coming in from the west, you say, ‘Storm’s coming’—and you’re right. And when the wind comes out of the south, you say, ‘This’ll be a hot one’—and you’re right. Frauds! You know how to tell a change in the weather, so don’t tell me you can’t tell a change in the season, the God-season we’re in right now. Lk 12:54-56
But He kept preaching, going village after villages, being consumed by the knowing —the value of time, and urgency of inaugurating His Father’s Rule, did not waste His time, Building buildings, as modern-day so-called shepherds live in palaces, and make people believe, they are doing all these, for building His Kingdom, and in fact all they know better is a book of rules, that expels people out of the church, and how i wish that they practice and preach the words, like this one that needs underlining, highlighting and quoting, for His Words concerning the importance of time, is still valid, as we are almost approaching, and hence asked to be ready to welcome Him, soon: Markos 1:15
And saying, The appointed time has been fulfilled and the Malchut Hashem has come near. Make teshuva, and have emunah in the Besuras HaGeulah.
May we be ready, as it is told, the time is coming, or we have time, or no time, or running out of time, to correct our lives and change the course of track that we took if, is not appropriate to the vocation that we received to live as His children.
Abba, Thank You for being patient with us and giving more time to convert ourselves. Let Your Spirit move us to comprehend, the meaning of this simple message, and get ready to welcome Him, In Jesus’ Most Wonder-working Name, Amen.
