Wicked, Why Enjoy Being Called Wicked#;:!$%?
Wickedness is a choice human beings make; we can always avoid wickedness. Nobody can force wickedness on anybody; if anyone forces any wickedness, even the wicked government has rules to punish that criminal. So, if you enjoy wickedness, then you are wicked. Kindly do not be wicked, because wicked will be condemned, hunted, haunted; wickedness is not good. So, wicked people, if you call a person wicked person, then he enjoys; it has become his addiction, wickedness has become his habit, wickedness has become his need, a kind of breath, he’s wicked-addicted. That’s why Solomon calls “wicked people,” and the verse continues. To find evil things—what do they find form morning till evenings? They look for negative things; they are like evil, they can only enjoy the evil. So they find, find, find, find “how can we find a false account,” “how can we seduce this person,” “how can we betray,” “how can we do this and that,” they cannot resist the capacity for evil; that’s why form morning till evening, they keep searching evil things to do; they are hungry for evil. This evil is unstoppable, except, someone like me who would go, hunt, and crush this evil, because this evil is corrupting the land of God, the garden where children need to pray—everywhere is corruption! God is going to clean. There is nothing wrong in making a mistake. Even I make mistakes, I’m a human being. Mistakes are careless; but these wicked things are planned. Just a mistake, you ask for forgiveness, God forgives, and the person to whom you made the mistake, most likely, forgives. Planned things are crime. If you plan how to take this girl—priests do that sometimes—how to take this . ..they’ll start with appreciating or compassionate words, then they will recommend a scholarship, they will release funds if you are poor, they will say, they are doing very well, come for the next scholarship… finally they will end up somewhere else. I’m talking about priests. How many poor, innocent children were trapped by this wicked. You should read The New York Times everyday. It has any number of news on priests abusing. Priests, be careful. Everyone is watching. Hereafter, you will make mistake because, and they’ll catch you. You make mistake, they’ll catch you. Enough, one man gives your cellphone—a call record, time, which lady you called, what time, in the absence of her husband, midnight, late night, all of you are going to be caught. But, the righteous stand firm. He’ll not be shivering, he’s not feeling cold, he’s comfortable. He’s drinking, yes, he’s drinking, drinking, drinking…but he’s not shivering; his hand is not shivering. Why? Because he’s righteous; he’s righteous. He’s not self-righteous; his righteousness come form the righteousness of the blood of Christ. He cleanses himself with the precious blood of Christ. The blood of Christ wipes away every sin, any sin; so apply the blood of Christ, and all your habits, addictive habits, weakness and sin—kindly do not practice wickedness. God cannot bear children, women, who are widows, orphans, foreigners, strangers, disabled, being humiliated or abused, or victimized; hence, be careful. The righteous stand firm.
Abba, Thank You for today’s lesson that tells us to be righteous. Let Your Spirit hold our hands that we may never go close to wicked, and be faithful to welcome Your Son, who is going to arrive soon. In Jesus’ Most Powerful Name, Amen.
