They Are Done

Ex 14:13 Moses spoke to the people, "Don't be afraid, stand firm, and watch God do His work of salvation for you, today. Take a good look at the Egyptians, today, for you are never going to see them again.

People of Israel had more than 400 years of oppression. Long, tedious, tiring--they almost lost hope. The believed the enmity is going to be eternal. That's when suddenly, when nobody expected, God approached Moses and said, "Go, liberate my people." Ten plagues continued. God avenged at the enemies of His people. And finally, when they were about to get away from that place, God said this special word, "Don't be afraid." You are never afraid. "Stand firm." With His grace, our feet are still standing firm. and "Watch" You want to see God do His work. You won't be able to do that. That's why it is called salvation. Salvation is something we cannot do for ourselves ,Someone outside of the situation; mankind cannot save, that's why God intervened, salvation for you, for us, for me--today, this day, ima.

"Take good look at the Egyptians." In case we forget, God will remove them from the planet. It's enough. They have crushed us enough. Again, today, ima.

"For you are never," The love of God is such, that He doesn't enjoy oppression, He doesn't enjoy enmity, He doesn't enjoy manipulation, He doesn't enjoy depravation, He doesn't enjoy crushing.

"You are never going to see them." It's not one, it's many. It's an army. Band of bandits. "Again." In the case of Egyptians, they were done away with. God did that. Your enemies, people who consider you an enemy, your children, your wife, declared enemy--if they have treated you this way, it's about God to deal with them. You don't have to do anything. Praise God.

Abba, Eternal God, who has power over everything and everyone, Thank You for the day of liberation. We believe that you are going to avenge our enemies who have crushed us. Let Your Spirit give us courage that we never look at them again, In Jesus' Most Powerful Name, Amen.
