Psalm 18 

1-2 I love you, God—

Love you God. The word that we should always tell, always everywhere, every minute and every second, because He created us, He deserves our love.

    you make me strong.

The strength belongs to Him. His strength is matchless. If I were to explain, ineffable, unfathmable. So anytime you feel tired, weak, hopeless, lift your eyes up to God, hands up, and call “I love You, God.” Immediately, help comes. That’s been my experience

God is bedrock 

Dependable

under my feet,

Cares my feet, too.

    the castle in which I live,

What He has given you, yeah, is your castle. He choses when you should move to next castle. He has moved me to a big castle.

    my rescuing knight.

Night is not night. Knight, soldier. Knights have weapon. If they have to save an innocent, they go any extreme. God is on the side of the poor, victim, widows, children, abandoned, immigrants, illegal, strangers who cannot speak foreign language, sick, lonely.

My God—the high crag

God is mine. He is a personal God.

    where I run for dear life,

We have to run like David ran.

    hiding behind the boulders,

Yeah, He doesn’t mind hiding us.

    safe in the granite hideout.

Yeah, unbreakable. Nobody can penetrate, nobody can break/.He will protect you. Once He knows you are safe, only then, as He did in the case of Noah, checking, checking, checking, and only then He now you will have to go.

I sing to God, 

I sing almost all days. Somedays if my heart is heavy, I don’t sing.

the Praise-Lofty,

I praise.

    and find myself safe 

Me too

and saved.

You too, all of us.

 

Abba, love you God. Let Your Spirit always make us run to your safety, granite hideout. Help me comfort your people who are in need, wherever they are, In Jesus’ Most Powerful Name, Amen.
