Broadcast His glorious wonders throughout
But you are God’s chosen treasure—priests who are kings, a spiritual “nation” set apart as God’s devoted ones. He called you out of darkness to experience his marvelous light, and now he claims you as his very own. He did this so that you would broadcast his glorious wonders throughout the world.
His choicest treasure
Everyone likes to hear good words about themselves. Who are we? ….People may say their name,… or their father’s name and claim “so-and-so’s son or daughter.”.. Or they say their own nationality,… or their educational qualification, ….or job description.
Nothing matters, when you come in front of GOD. That is why Peter is giving you, a new identity. You are GOD’s chosen treasure.
When Jesus tells about the parable of man, who found the treasure, hid it, went and sold all that he was possessing and purchased the land that had treasure….same way God gave up His Son and His
very Life to purchase us, Yes, we are His choicest treasure.
priests who are kings,
—Not all kings are priests, but we who offer sacrifices of praise ,day and night are kings in front of Him, dear and near.
a spiritual “nation”
—yes, God has that destination that is awaiting on us, for His devoted ones. Let’s be devoted to Him.
He called you
—yes, “”Even when you were born, before you got conceived in your mother’s womb, even then I knew you. I knew your name, called you by name, you are mine.” That’s how he owns us.
out of darkness
—not knowing GOD and His Plan of Salvation and Redemption accomplished in Calvary, is in fact, is being the greatest darkness.
Prophet Isaiah told very clearly “The people who work in the darkness, has seen the marvelous light.” Yes, knowing that our debt, or sin is paid on Calvary by Christ’s Precious Blood, and believing in that glorious gospel is an experience of marvelous light. We are invited to that luminous.
And now He claims you as His very own. ....Jesus was His Very Own. You and I—His very own… thus He claims. What a Royal privilege.
He did this, for what? So that you would broadcast , His glorious wonders throughout the world.
How many wonders has He done in your life? …In your parents’,.. your friends’,… in your family? Everyday 24 x 7,…. these many years.
Have you broadcasted?…. Have you proclaimed? Have you shared? That GOD has done these glorious things as wonders towards your favor?…. I (for my part) try my level best.
Abba, Thank You for calling me Your chosen treasure, and priests who are king. And allowing me to be a citizen of Your spiritual nation, and your devoted one. Thank You for calling me out of darkness, into your marvelous light, and claiming me as very own. Help me that I may never fail broadcasting YOUR GLORIOUS WONDERS throughout the world.
